Built on a dedicated platform, the All-new Megane E-TECH Electric is the new benchmark for EV models and the first Generation 2.0 model. It will also be the very first vehicle ‘Made In ElectriCity’ – the name given to our brand new European leader and EV industrial hub located in the north of France.
A brand new on-board experience
The All-new Megane E-TECH Electric merges seamlessly intothe digital ecosystems of users thanks to numerous on-board and remote services via the My Renault app. The crowning jewel of the interior compratment is the OpenR screen, a piece that embodies the full range of on-board technology built into Renault’s new generation of electric vehicles. Thanks to the OpenR Link with built-in Google, the life on board experience is like no other with a vast catalogue of apps and voice activated assitant to help run the vehicle’s on-board functions and field any possible question.
Luc Julia, Renault Group Chief Scientific Officer, will talk about the latest in innovation for on-board technology and interactions with smart-cities during the R//Show conference on September 9th.
Electric perforance and on-road versatility
Thanks to the slimest battery on the market, the All-new Megane E-TECH Electric has a WLTP range of up to 470 km, making for a remarkably versatile and barrier free-drive. The recharge time is also one of the shortest on the market as either AC (up to 22 kW) or DC (up to 130 kW). After four generations, it made perfect sense for the new Megane to embody the brand’s future. The All-new Megane E-TECH Electric is just the first of a new generation of electric vehicles that are to be as much sought after as they generate value.
